The Greene County Beekeepers Association sponsors Beekeeping Project 4-H Scholarship for Project and Record Book #641: Beekeeping offers learning and fun for members of all ages. Covers colony care and management and basic beekeeping records. Complete this project book every year a beekeeping project is taken.

Visits by GCBA mentors to 4-H clubs are available for presentations.
We are seeking motivated, mature youth in 4-H to apply for GCBA scholarship.
Scholarship includes a full bee hive kit, mentoring, and more!

GCBA Membership included
Our 4-H Scholarship Awardees are offered a complimentary GCBA membership for the first year. They, their families, and their 4-H club leader are all welcomed and encouraged to attend our monthly meetings. There is much information available from local beekeepers and speakers.
Educational opportunities to 4-H clubs and 4-H individuals are available through our 4-H and Youth program.
The GCBA provides an equipment award of a hive smoker to the 4-H Beekeeping Project 1st place winner in the Senior Division. We also award each member who completes the project a commemorative hive tool.
